Children's Welfare & Family Court Reform
Delaware's family-law system fails too many children and parents. I call for timely hearings, understandable notices, reliable evidence, clear findings, and meaningful review of errors. On gender-transition care for minors, I favor clear age standards, careful assessment, and informed consent — children's welfare must come before pressure to conform to a party position.
A More Moderate Democratic Direction
Our party has taken an extreme progressive turn that risks losing the voters we need. I am challenging that direction openly and on the record. A credible Democratic alternative must address policy disagreements directly — not avoid them. Delaware deserves a representative who can hold this seat by speaking plainly to all constituents.
Accountability & Transparency
I am prepared to be accountable for my own qualifications, policy positions, and campaign finances. I will seek appropriate oversight of federal child-welfare funding and work with Delaware lawmakers on state court reforms. Voters deserve documented contrast, not vague promises.
The Candidate
About Christopher Garvin
Christopher Garvin brings more than a decade in mortgage finance, a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, an ABA Paralegal Certificate, a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology, and graduate-level training in child and adolescent development. He is pursuing a doctorate in Human Services with study in crisis management. His background gives him a financial, legal, and developmental perspective on the problems facing Delaware families.
